A good sunny day on the Parade in Cowes spreading the word about the Planetarium and Fort Victoria.
Around 30 people turned out to watch a show about stargazing and finding your way around the night sky presented by Paul England despite the stormy weather outside!!

Had a great night last night (20/01/2011), ran a monthly sky guide for what is in the sky in January 2011 followed by a talk about the life and death of stars, using the planetarium to illustrate different stages of a stars life.
Even with the Moon being Full we still managed to view Jupiter and Orion Nebulae using the 10″ Meade Lightbridge.
The whole evening was enjoyed by all that attended.
